Roundness in motion
This lamp is held into a sphere, two horizontal tops separate the reflector from the base. The reflector’s rotatory movement around the central articulation constantly describes new spheres. A sinuous, dynamic and agile shape, like a cobra that swings hypnotized by the music but ready to the spring. It is moulded with one single material, that is to say thermosetting resin, and available in bright colours, white, black or red.

Scorpius, the scorpion
Scorpio, a reserved and elusive sign, manifests itself in the lamp as a message of intuition and creativity, traits that have defined some of Elio Martinelli's most iconic pieces.
Cobra Scorpius is colored in a midnight blue that symbolizes the starry sky and the rising constellation Scorpio. The lamp has an evocative aura due to the small holes punctuating its rotating cap, which replicate the charm of celestial bodies.

The bond, the stars
Scorpius does not reflect the sign on the ceiling as the perforation would suggest, but rather instils a sense of calmness and solidity, as only by looking at the stars can one feel.
