Meet Design, a thematic platform promoted and organized by the RCS group, is an event aiming at communicating the design to the general public by means of a series of involving activities till they become a reference point between the design world – companies and designers – and users. It is a container of ideas with a great communication potential, able to give value to concepts at the base of the Italian design, of the Italian living culture and of their history.
"Design una storia Italiana" is the title of the exhibition organized by Marco Romanelli that offers a selection of pieces that rebuild the scenario of design and history of our Country since 1948 till now. Martinelli Luce has been invited to be present at Meet Design with some of its most significant historical and recent lamps: "Cobra” design by Elio Martinelli 1968, "Pipistrello" design by Gae Aulenti 1966 and "Elica" design by Brian Sironi 2009 and already awarded with the award Compasso d'Oro 2011.
