The Elica lamp design by Brian Sironi, winner of the prize "If product Design Gold Award 2010", was selected for the exhibition "The new Italian design" that will be made in October 2010 at the new “Museum of Contemporary Art” at Istanbul.
The “Triennale Design Museum” at Milan before of the itinerancy show provided in Istanbul, offers a preview of a selection of new projects. The show, held originally in Milan, at the headquarters of Triennale museum from 20th January to 25th April 2007, presented the results of the census "The New Italian design" launched by the Triennale museum in 2006 with the intention to make a survey on the scenario of contemporary design.
The forthcoming edition of the exhibition at Istanbul, with a selection of projects and designers of Italian nationality under "39 and a fourth" wants to be an upgrade of the young design and of the creativity of our country.
Design, formal severity of the project and use of modern LED technology for the light source, are the features of Elica that determinated the selection of this product.
